Are you a dreamer or an optimist?

I want to be both! Anyways, have you ever read Paulo Coelho's books? I don't read any of his book. But I read some of his famous quotes which is interesting and inspiring. Like "It's the possibility of having a dream come true that makes life interesting." I don't know where this quote can be found on his books, but it hit me. It is so damn true. Just like I dreamt of something which I didn't expect would come true and because it happened, I wanted to dream for something more and wished it would happen again. You experienced that right? Even you deny that you didn't, I know you did. lol

But in order for our dreams to come true we should be an optimist too. Well, that's what I think, correct me if I'm wrong though. I want to be an optimistic dreamer, but I'm too lazy to do things. Maybe sometime soon it will happen, I'll just dream about it who knows it would really happen. hehe!
I found this 10 tips from another blog which I would like to share. I really don't know if this is related to what I'm talking about. hahaha! But who cares..

1. Mindset is everything!
It can be one of the hardest things you can do. But, if you are in a negative mindset, what are you going to attract? This is one of the first things you need to do before you get too ahead of yourself. Is change your mindset. Might seem a little hard, but in the long run, it will get easier and you WILL notice a difference in your life and the people in it.

2. Don’t pretend. Be honest with yourself!
Some people think they can fake it till they make it. But faking your personality will not actually change you as a person. The only way to better you is to come to terms with yourself. Once you figure out where you are and who you are, you can work on trying to better all of the above. It may be difficult to admit to yourself some things in which you dislike, but it is all for the better.

3. Believe in people, not all of them are bad!
A lot of us have been hurt in our lives by a lot of people. Which leads us to be distant from people, and feel defensive, but give people a chance. Not to say you HAVE to trust everyone, follow your gut, but know there are good people out there and prove to them you are good too.

4. Accept your failures!
Seriously! Being in denial will not help you learn about yourself. Trust me. Come to terms with what you have failed in, and be sure to avoid that for next time. You can always learn from your failures.

5. Don’t live for success!
Einstein once told: “Don’t be a man of success, be a man of value.”

6. Positive THINKING is not enough!
You can think all you want. You should actually enjoy everything you do, your life, you should love the people around you. Not just think about it.

7. Try to find something positive in any bad moment!
This can be a good start for being an optimist. Take for example some small problems at work or within the family. Think it over and find something positive in it.

8. Do look back!
Remember your past experience, how you managed to cope with previous problems. This will give you an inspiration for future fights. You always learn from everything you have been through.

9. Believe in yourself. Know that you can do everything!
You are only holding yourself back.

10. SMILE!
Do it now!

That's all for now! :P

It's been a while

It's been a while since I posted here. Earlier today I was told that my grandmother was admitted at the hospital and diagnosed with pneumonia. So just earlier I called her, we talked for just a few minutes but still I feel like I felt what she's feeling. I had teary eyes when I was talking to her while she was saying it's her 8th injection just this day and she said it's very painful. She added life there is so difficult, she don't have anyone there to help her around and she wants to come back home. She really wants to come back home, 'cause she keeps on repeating it.

My aunt told me to advise her to eat for her fast recovery, and so I did then she said that she don't have an appetite but still I insisted and advised her to eat even just a small amount of food, then she told me she'll force herself just to eat. Well, that's a relief! And I told her this exact line "Kaon jud la para ma himsog balik, kay daghan paka ug kasab-anan diri!" she laughed, then my eyes are like fogged, because it changed her mood. I just don't know what she thinks and felt after that, but I know she wants to recover and get well fast!

So please you reading this, please include our Lola Super in your prayers for her recovery. Thank you!

UPDATE: just recently she got out of the hospital and I hope all is well now, I haven't talked to her yet though. Thanks for the prayers. :)
