Using Globe's Prolink H6300G modem/router for PLDT DSL
I'm currently using Prolink H6300G from Globe as our router here at home. At first we had our own separate Trendnet wireless router and an Alcatel ADSL Home PlusPlus 500 modem from PLDT. But then our Trendnet wireless router was bricked/broken maybe because of the lightning strikes last few weeks.
Because of that I am the only one who could connect to the internet using the Alcatel Home PlusPlus modem, while others can't use the internet because there was no Wireless Access Point anymore. And so I had to find a replacement. Since, we had an extra Prolink modem at our office I brought it home and use it instead since it have wifi capabilities. So I will just post the screenshot of my setup on the the Globe Prolink H6300G Wireless Modem for PLDT DSL. If you have questions feel free to ask on the comment box below.

Hello! Gusto ko rin sana gawin to. Globe Prolink H6300G Wireless Modem for PLDT DSL ZyXEL P-600 series autovolt. Diko gets yung sa part na may interface, Paano mo to nakuha "192.168.1.2/globe"

ReplyDeletewala pong kailangan na cd. pasok ka lang sa web interface ng modem/router sa 192.168.254.254 or sa anong ip na naka set-up sa lan mo using internet explorer/google chrome/mozilla firefox/kahit anong web browser na meron ka..
ReplyDeleteor if d mo alam at may CD yong modem/router mo. use mo nalang yon at siya na bahala papasok sa web interface ng modem/router nyo po. :D
Just as similar as yours, I switched from Globe, but to a cable net provider. I don't want to get rid of the Prolink just yet and am hoping I could use its wifi capability. I've noticed that you've set some specs that I'm just wondering if the same could apply to another net provider or if your settings are for PLDT's alone. :)

ReplyDeletehi.. nka pldt dsl aq... gusto ko snang gamitin ung globe tatoo na wifi router... kaso ndi ko lam kung panu e..wla kasi kaming network acess.. ndi aq mkagamit ng net... may signal lang pero ndi aq makconect sa net.... pls help me.. thanks..
ReplyDeletehello po! ma aaccess mo ba yong web interface ng globe tattoo router nyo? you need to change the connection type to Dynamic IP instead of globe's default PPPoE.
ReplyDeletedi po ako makapasok sa ip 192.168.254.254/globe yan sa google paano po kaya puede kong gawin.. naka globe po ako na broadband na hurricane 5200 n prolink.. wala po itong wifi.. so my friend ak na binigyan ako ng prolink na h5004n na my wifi galing po yung pldt.. pano ko po sya puedeng ma configure using my globe dsl.. puede nyo po bang ituro yung step by step procedure.. pls?? help po..
ReplyDeleteHello, sorry ngayon lang ako nakabalik.. Uhm you need to get your router's ip address para mapasok mo po at mag configure ka.. Run Command Prompt and type 'ipconfig'. you will see something like this:

Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.32
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.1
Ang Default Gateway ang ip ng router mo. try using that instead of 192.168.254.254 if d mo ma access..
na aacess ko naman yung prolink h5004n. napagana ko na din yung led ng internet nya kaso di ako maka pag browse wala syang internet connection.. kahit may ilaw n yung internet nya.. di ko po alam kung ano gagawin ko.. ano mga babaguhin ko sa prolink h5004n para mapagana ko sya, kasi my wifi ito. ang gamit ko po ngayon e globe broadband na wala ng wifigusto ko po syang ilipat sa bagong modem ko na pldt na may wifi..di ko po alam ang configure na gagawin ko dito sa pldt wifi ko para gumana sya sa globe lines..ano po ang kailangan kong iconfigure dito sa pldt wifi ko para gumana po sya ng maayos..

ReplyDeleteuu pwede! you just need to use bridge mode sa globe router mo. tas iconnect mo yong cable from pldt to globe's lan port (1-2-3-4) slots. para magamit mo siya parang switch.
DeleteSir bt pag bridge mode.. my connection poh for my pc... but in my wifi wla poh.. sbi there;s no responce from server??.. tnx poh.. dbale poh yung server n modem q wi fi modem dn.. gs2 q lng poh extend sna yung range kya ntry q 2ng h6300g n modem.. d poh kse abot s room yung signal ng wi fi.. slmat pohh

ReplyDeletenagconnect ako sa pldtdsl wire ng tita ko putol na kasi pldt namin so kinonect ko yung pldt wire namin sa wire nila. then kinabit ko sa globe router kaso di ko na alam next step para magka net ako. help please
ReplyDeletei have prolink h5301g din at pldt user na din ako just like aders ung prolink 530 ay my wifi so gusto ko din magmit ung wifi capabilities nya ang tanung ko ai pwed bang i direct conek ung prolink sa line mismo ng pldt at itabi kuna ung zzxel modem ko?oh sabay silang dalwa gagamitin ung prolink kc wala syang WAN port its only ethernet and dsl port only ,,I TINK IND PWED ikbit ung ethrnet wire ng zyxel to ethernet port of prolink am i right?plz tel me wat is the method for configuration
ReplyDeletepwedeng pwede po.. ang naka post sa taas yon ang gamit ko. line ng pldt gamit ko sa prolink ko.. itabi mo na yong zyxel para d ka malilito.. pero sorry d ko pa ma post yong step by step configuration medyo tinatamad kasi ako at busy konte.. pero will try in some few days cguro. hehe
Deletewala ako net nung kinabit ko sya sa pldt line pero nka psok ako sa 192.168.254.254 kso wala ung sa wan setting dko mabago ung VPI VCI sir na flash mo ba firmware mo? wala kcng available firmware sa 5301g

ReplyDeleteMeron kameng prolink h5001N for globe tattoo before, then we switched to pldt my bro at kailangan nmn ng router to connect wireless.. Big Q is we dont know how to configure and kng pwede bang gmitin ung modem ng globe n may phone line dati sa pldt ngyon n wala nman..

ReplyDeletegud pm po...:) ako po c candy... globeline po gamit namin na connection.... pero sa pc lang... wala pong wifi... gusto ko po sana mgka wifi kami... pero mahal po ang router nang globe... pero meron kaming pldt mydsl router dito... pwedi po bah ito yong gamitin namin na router.... globelines po yong connection namin.... hope po matulongan nnyo ako...:(

ReplyDeleteask lang po, meron kasi akong CRD King router model WR-NET-021-ZI configure x sa GLobe then nag change ako sa PLDT mydsl, pano ba po maconfigure to into PLDT? thank you in advance...
ReplyDeleteD ako familiar sa cdr king router, modem din ba yan o router lang? If modem router, change mo lang ata bridge mode yan. Like I did with my globe modem.
