The Reincarnation / Archmage / Magewar

I'm going to write about a game where I've been addicted for so long. Before it was called Archmage where can be found at the domain Magewar.com which is developed by a group named MARI. I started playing this game since 90's when I was still in high school. I just don't know why I'm so addicted with this game, I also played Utopia before but stopped because of Archmage. Even my text color is based on Archmage. It's a game that requires 15 minutes per day to play... but is so addictive you'll want to play all day!

Here's a review from OMGSpider.

Game Name: The Reincarnation
Client Type: Browser
Genre: Strategy / Kingdom Building
Time: Turn Based
Learning Curve: 7-15 Days
Price: Free

The reincarnation is based on the old Archmage, or better put, begun as a clone of Archmage but later on changed some things with view on better game play. Archmage was one of the very first browser games, a very smart and addictive game which eventually was ceased to exist because of economic problems.

So, in The Reincarnation, you take up the role of a mage. There are five schools of magic to choose from. Every school has its strengths and weaknesses versus the other schools. After the player has picked a school, he gets to build his kingdom.

The kingdom building is very crucial. There are buildings for geld (gold), mana (magical power) and population which represent the upkeep units of the game. The player has to expand his kingdom in order to be able to get more complex but better magic, bigger and better armies.

The whole game is based on an endless competitive race to the top, where the top10 players are considered the immortals when the game ends. The deep mechanisms in battle are key for this game success.

The interface is mostly text and can prove very complicated for newcomers. At least there are enough guides to help the newcomers or else no one would stood a chance.

The game itself is difficult too and it will take a long time for the players to realize how to attack and defend well. Eventually they will start learning but the road will still be long. Here is where guild take part.

Players team up into groups called guilds, except if the type of the server does not allow it. Guild play important role as the game balance can easily change if a group of skilled people decides so.

Graphics are inexistent but this doesn’t means much as you will not need them. Perhaps they would be only useful for a better interface.

Development was very stagnant some years ago but lately and the past one year (present time is January 2008) has been back on track with much changes from the developing squad.

Community is the start and the end of the game. Because the game has been around for many years, it has many long playing people who are pretty dedicated to the game. All in all the community can be a bless or a bliss, depending on your side but there can certainly be a good environment for people joining a the game for first time.

Overall, this game can be called a game. It won’t appeal to many people, mostly because the lack of graphics and much mathematical equations involved but it will most certainly entertain the fans of such type of games.

Left my car keys inside

Earlier I bought a mushroom soup at KFC for my daughter, because she was feeling sick and wouldn't eat her meal. When I got there, the parking space was full so I just parked at the back of the KFC delivery motorcycles. Since I was in a hurry, I locked the doors, got out of the car, rushed inside and ordered just a mushroom soup. When I got the soup, I noticed I couldn't find my car keys. I calmly walked outside and took a peek through the window and there saw my car keys left inside! I then tried to push the doors, because sometimes I often left it not fully closed or half closed and if pushed it will just unlock. But to my dismay all doors were fully closed and locked!

So I got to do plan B. Get the spare keys of my brother at home! My only worry was, what if it will be towed or something. Good thing our house is just one jeepney away. Got home and almost blamed my wife, again! haha. sorry hun! :P I then went back right away to get the car with the spare keys. And it's good to see it's still there. lol. I just don't know why I'm so clumsy lately.

We then get to our daughters pediatrician to get her check and after a couple of tests, thank God she's okay! The doctor said there was no infections found, the lungs were clean and maybe it's just because of her teething and it's starting to get out of her gums. We just need to give her a paracetamol drops and hopefully she'll get well and hopefully won't be needing a CBC this coming Sunday. HOPEFULLY!

8th months and counting

Yesterday, my daughter turned 8 months old and I decided to buy something just to celebrate it. After work, I rushed to Elizabeth Mall and bought a chocolate cake from Red Ribbon. All was well, and then an incident happened when I was about to get out of the parking lot, the parking ticket accidentally fell inside a small hole just at the back of the windshield. Then I asked the teller at the parking lot what to do when a parking ticket is lost. They told me that I need to pay 150php for the lost ticket and they need to see the OR of the car which I really don't know where it is and because of it I was about to dismantle the front of the car (multicab) near the headlights, because I couldn't get a hold of the parking ticket.

Out of desperation and just couldn't think of anything on what to do, I sat inside the car and messaged my wife that I was stuck at the parking lot because of the lost ticket and also messaged my mom asking where is the OR of the car im using. And I was about to blame my wife because it was her idea to celebrate our daughter's 8th month and told me to buy a cake. LoL! While sitting I remembered there's a hole which is covered at the side of the steering wheel, I just don't know what it's called. So I opened it and there saw the parking ticket hanging with the wires and finally I was relieved. Whew! After a stressful minutes, it was all just an inch away!

When I got home, they thought I was caught by a traffic enforcer (CITOM) violating traffic rules. Thank God it was not the case too!

Lesson learned, next time I won't ever put the parking ticket in front of the steering wheel! haha!

Pictures on that day with my sister, wife, baby kheia and the cake!
sister, me, baby kheia
sister, my wife, baby kheia
she smiled! isn't she cute? :P

Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 at SM Cinema Cebu

Yesterday, me and my friend Kingkong went to SM Cinema to watch the fight of Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 with the free tickets I got from iStorya.net. We arrived there at 9 in the morning, we were so early that we had to wait for an hour to see the main cards. At first they showed the bout of Dennis Laurente vs. Ayi Bruce, but it was stopped at somewhere in the 5th round. Then I noticed that the reception is bad, it's like we're streaming on the internet. But then again I thought it was just for that moment and will be gone when the fight of Pacquiao and Marquez is nearer. So an hour passed, and then we are free from the advertisements and interviews and everything boring that has been showing for an hour!

Then the Super Featherweight bout started, Luis Cruz vs. Juan Carlos Burgos but didn't caught my attention and haven't noticed what happened since I was sleepy and I don't even know those guys.

Next up, the Light Welterweight bout, Mike Alvarado vs. Breidis Prescott, that time my sleepyhead was gone because it was an interesting fight. At first Prescott has been beating the hell out of Alvarado even made he's face bloody with his punches. I was also amazed with their elbow to elbow inside punches, and I really thought Prescott would win and Alvarado will have his first defeat. But at the very last round, Prescott got hit by two super amazing uppercuts and he tried to grab Alvarado to avoid being knocked down, but Alvarado stepped back then there Prescott had his first knock down! I we're like, what the hell happened there? I thought he was solid as a rock! Then he got back up, but then again he got hit hard by Alvarado and he was almost thrown out of the ring and Alvarado just wouldn't stop, and so the referee stopped the fight and he won the fight by TKO at the very last round at 1:53 which we saw a turning of events. All I can say that it was a close fight but Alvarado closed the fight with a technical knockout!

Then next fight was Light Welterweight Championship bout, Timothy Bradley vs. Joel Casamayor. Before the fight, a guy beside me said Bradley is the man. He's like a fan of him. He just couldn't stop talking about him. In my mind, I was like, "Dude, stop talking bout him I don't really care what he is and what he's capable of". But instead I just said "I see". haha!

Then the reception started going crazy again, crowd in the cinema started making noises and shouting "What's this?", "Is this what we paid for?", "boooo!", etc. So one guy announced that they're giving refund outside. So the people started to go out and get their refund it was like a mob of angry customers and chanting "REFUND REFUND REFUND!". lol

We also got out and started to fall in line, the ticket was 500php and I had two tickets free, 1,000php would be great! But just before we had our refund and we were like 10th on the line, the manager said that the reception is now back to normal and can go back to watch again. So some others got back inside while few stayed still on the line well of course including us. My friend and I decided to get the refund and get home fast and watch pay per view on our neighbor. When we got nearer on the line, the clerk said to one guy in front of us "Are you sure you're going to get a refund? You can go back now and watch the fight normally". But he insisted, while the clerk gives 500php with a disappointed face. Then we got refunded with our free tickets and then rushed our way back home.

We arrived just in time Maria Aragon started singing the Philippine national anthem. Then watched the fight live. But in the end, we really thought Marquez would win. Pacquiao can't even hit the guy right, he always get counter punched hard, and i mean HARD! What really happened there? But oh well, a win is a win! The scorecards did their part. It was one hell of a boring fight, not like their first and second match up. This is another controversial win, so I'm guessing there will be a rematch again, and now I wonder when will this ever stop? But for me as what Manny showed in that fight, it would be much better to see Marquez vs. Mayweather on the ring rather than Pacquiao vs Mayweather.

I still got free 1,000php on that day! So I don't really care what happens next to them! I won! lol

Got a message to SM Cinema management though, why is there so small space between seats? Are you only expecting small people to watch your cinemas? Seriously, it's so damn uncomfortable watching with the space in between seats. We can't even get out easily to take a piss or get a drink/food, people need to squeeze in just for someone to get out of the row and it's so frustrating to someone when people in his row keeps on getting in/out in his way.

Free Ticket to watch Pacquiao Vs Marquez 3

I just got a free ticket for Pacquiao vs Marquez III at SM Cinema. I got this ticket from Convergys & iStorya.net's exclusive promo. And guess what, the promo runs from October 28 to November 8, 2011 and I read about the topic on the very last day of the promo period. So I decided to give it a try, but wasn't expecting to win the tickets because that was the last day and the entries will be raffled on the next day Nov. 9, but you see we never know when luck strikes, and there it is. Two free tickets!

But there's a problem, I wonder who I'll be with, or should I even go? I know my wife won't watch with me because she's not into it, or should I just let someone have it and get a gasoline refund? Now what you think? I paid just to get to the place near JY Square and have the ticket, gasoline's not free you know. :P

Once again, a very big thanks to iStorya.net and Convergys.

Where is the justice here?

This news is interesting. A homeless man gets 15 years sentence for robbing a bank for only $100, while an ex-CEO sentenced 4 years for a $3 billion scheme. And to think the homeless man was honest confessing what he have done and even surrendered himself to the police. Well, he was homeless and that was the reason why he did that anyway but come to think of it the ex-CEO could have never been arrested if was not caught, and I wonder what's the reason on his actions. Now for the prosecutors do they have math? Can someone explain the numbers here. So, where is the justice there?

Installing Love Tutorial from a Tech Support

Tech Support: Yes, Ma’am…. how can I help you?

Customer: Well, after much consideration, I’ve decided to install Love. Can you guide me though the process?

Tech Support: Yes. I can help you. Are you ready to proceed?

Customer: Well, I’m not very technical, but I think I’m ready. What do I do first?

Tech Support: The first step is to open your Heart. Have you located your Heart, ma’am?

Customer: Yes, but there are several other programs running now. Is it okay to install Love while they are running?

Tech Support: What programs are running, ma’am?

Customer: Let’s see, I have Past Hurt, Low Self-Esteem, Grudge and Resentment running right now.

Tech Support: No problem, Love will gradually erase Past Hurt from your current operating system. It may remain in your permanent memory, but it will no longer disrupt other programs. Love will eventually override Low Self-Esteem with a module of its own called High Self-Esteem. However, you have to completely turn off Grudge and Resentment. Those programs prevent Love from being properly installed. Can you turn those off, ma’am?

Customer: I don’t know how to turn them off. Can you tell me how?

Tech Support : With pleasure. Go to your start menu and invoke Forgiveness. Do this as many times as necessary until Grudge and Resentment have been completely erased.

Customer: Okay, done! Love has started installing itself. Is that normal?

Tech Support: Yes, but remember that you have only the base program. You need to begin connecting to other Hearts in order to get the upgrades.

Customer: Oops! I have an error message already. It says, “Error - Program not run on external components .” What should I do?

Tech Support: Don’t worry, ma’am. It means that the Love program is set up to run on Internal Hearts, but has not yet been run on your Heart. In non- technical terms, it simply means you have to Love yourself before you can Love others.

Customer: So, what should I do?

Tech Support: Pull down Self-Acceptance; then click on the following files: Forgive-Self; Realize Your Worth; and Acknowledge your Limitations.

Customer: Okay, done.

Tech Support: Now, copy them to the “My Heart” directory. The system will overwrite any conflicting files and begin patching faulty programming. Also, you need to delete Verbose Self-Criticism from all directories and empty your Recycle Bin to make sure it is completely gone and never comes back.

Customer: Got it. Hey! My heart is filling up with new files. Smile is playing on my monitor and Peace and Contentment are copying themselves all over My Heart. Is this normal?

Tech Support: Sometimes. For others it takes awhile, but eventually everything gets it at the proper time. So Love is installed and running. One more thing before we hang up. Love is Freeware. Be sure to give it and its various modules to everyone you meet. They will in turn share it with others and return some cool modules back to you.

Customer: Thank you, God. ♥

Miriam Defensor Santiago's Interview

Transcript of Sen. Miriam Defensor Santiago's interview

On the Catholic Church possibly using Rep. Pacquiao for their anti-RH campaign.

On that point, I have two comments to make. One is serious, the other facetious. The serious comment first. I thank the Catholic Church for not exploiting the Pacquiao visit. One priest has already said that they are not going to use him as the poster boy. I commend the Catholic Church because otherwise, it would have muddied the waters. Secondly, Pacquiao was said to be quoting the Bible saying, "Go out to the world and multiply." First may I just, since he is just a legislator, make a point of information, may I just make a point of grammar please? The Bible does not say, "Go out to the world." It sounds very much like God is encouraging us to go out and copulate in public. God said in the Bible, "Go forth and multiply." That meant that God wanted man, not necessarily to literally multiply, but to go out to work with the rest of the human beings of this planet and to apply the stewardship theory. Meaning to say, taking care of each other, who are all in the planet living together.

Now, for the facetious comment. Number one, there is an element of hypocrisy here because at first, Pacquiao's wife was quoted as saying that she uses the pill, while Pacquiao was quoted as saying that he applies discipline to space his children. In that case, apparently, Pacquiao would have to use violence on his wife because she is not living in conformity with his beliefs. The second point is this, Pacquiao is quoted as saying, "Go out to the world and multiply," apart from the grammatical point already raised, I would like to say if this is going to be a debate of biblical quotes, then I will counter with a quote: "The devil can cite scripture for its purposes." The third facetious comment is this: it is very dangerous to be a fundamentalist. That is what Pacquiao is. He reads the Bible and he interprets it literally. The Bible, as you know, was not written by God. The Bible was written at least 17 years after the death of Jesus Christ, so it was not even written by any of the eyewitnesses to Jesus. They are quoting Jesus liberally throughout the Bible because none of them were living when he was around. Plus, they are quoting God, but the Bible says that none of them has ever seen God. In fact, if you have claimed to have seen God, as I've said, you are in urgent need of psychiatric care. The Bible was written first in Aramic and then interpreted into Hebrew, and then into Latin, and from Latin, into all the Latin based languages of the Western world, including English. So it is very dangerous to quote the Bible and apply it literally as Pacquiao is doing. Bakit mo papasukan ito, e kaming mga senador hindi papasok sa pagboksing, pero kung gusto mo, eh di puwede rin.

Are you threatened that Pacquiao's popularity will sway the mindset of Filipinos who are pro-RH bill?

No, I don't think so. We know, we can see, that he knows more about boxing than possibly anybody alive particularly in the welterweight department, which is considered to be "the" boxing title. But still, we cannot be know-it-alls. It will be very misleading to use his celebrity status to enter into, what is after all, a great debate on the political economy.

What are the highlights of the bill?

What we want to do is just tell all women of childbearing age in the Philippines, what are their options for family planning. We'll teach them natural family planning as espoused by the Catholic Church, the use of condoms, the use of other contraceptives, and so on. It's just a question, really, of providing information. That's why if you're going to be asked to answer "yes" or "no" (if you are in favor of the RH bill), you must cast a conscience vote, and not what somebody dictates to you on what should be your vote. Nobody has a monopoly of the thoughts of God. Nobody is acquainted with mind of God.

Employee and the Boss

I just saw this post on a forum and wanted to repost here on my blog. Thanks to the poster. :)

When I Take a long time to finish, I am slow,
When my boss takes a long time, he is thorough

When I don't do it, I am lazy,
When my boss does not do it, he is busy,

When I do something without being told, I am trying to be smart,
When my boss does the same, he takes the initiative,

When I please my boss, I am apple polishing,
When my boss pleases his boss, he is cooperating,

When I make a mistake, I' am an idiot.
When my boss makes a mistake, he's only human.

When I am out of the office, I am wandering around.
When my boss is out of the office, he's on business.

When I am on a day off sick, I am always sick.
When my boss is a day off sick, he must be very ill.

When I apply for leave, I must be going for an interview
When my boss applies for leave, it's because he's overworked

When I do good, my boss never remembers,
When I do wrong, he never forgets

Movie Review: 3 Idiots

Two friends embark on a quest for a lost buddy. On this journey, they encounter a long forgotten bet, a wedding they must crash, and a funeral that goes impossibly out of control.

I watched this movie last 2 days, I am so amazed, because this is the very first time I watched an Indian comedy film and it's fantastic. Well, I just don't like the singing and dancing part and that's what I don't like with Indian films, but even if there's singing and dancing in this movie, you will just forget about it while the movie keeps on rolling. I didn't even noticed that this movie is almost 3 hours of fun, there's a sad part though. What I like the most of this movie is the part of Aamir Khan (Rancho), doing whatever it takes just to help his friends without asking for anything in return. He's a very very good friend, he's like a parent to his bestfriends.
But he has a secret, even his closest friends in college didn't know... and after graduation he left without a trace. And then this is where the journey starts...

"Whatever the problem in life is.. just say to yourself 'Aal Izz Well' (All Is Well). This wont solve your problems but it will give the courage to face it..", "Chase Excellence and success will follow", " Life is not about getting marks or grades but chasing your dreams" These are the golden rules which 3 Idiots teaches you in an entertaining way. The movie makes you laugh and in the process you learn many golden rules which can alter your life in a big manner.

I rate this movie 10/10. I'm going to watch this movie again, next week I guess. :P

Music: When morning comes

I want to share a song that keeps playing on my iPod. I don't know the exact lyrics, I searched for it but no results. If you know the lyrics please do contact me, I'd like to post it here and maybe sing along with it. hehe!

I decided to transcribe what I hear. So here's the unofficial one:

Maybe I'll catch my breathe when I wake up to the summer air
My phone's turned off seconds of silence to clear my head
There's got to be a million things I haven't said (What I can't get it alone)
I take it all in and head to the door you know I'll see you on the other end

Don't let the sun lead the way, I'll capture all the perfect things
You don't see it when you're alone, we'll start it up again (Yeah!)

July we're running again the windows down and I'm back to the wind
(With nothing more!)
Than just a couple of best friends and let's stand out with a GPS
(I'm ready to go!)
This are the times that I will never forget I wish you could come along
You can see it all for yourself, about the good times (Take the wheel!)

Don't let the sun lead the way, I'll capture all the perfect things
You don't see it when you're alone, so let's see this
-----??? ...so we'll take it, and carry this to the end
When morning comes, we'll start it up again

Take a breathe come on and raise your hands in mine
Close your eyes give on and listen to the silence

Don't let the sun lead the way, I'll capture all the perfect things
You don't see it when you're alone... When you're alone
Don't let the sun lead the way, I'll capture all the perfect things
You don't see it when you're alone, so let's see this
----??? ...so we'll take it, and carry this to the end
When morning comes, we'll start it up again.

Movie Review: Confessions

A psychological thriller of a grieving mother turned cold-blooded avenger with a twisty master plan to pay back those who were responsible for her daughter's death.

I just watched this box office hit movie from Japan, Confessions. This movie is brilliant, the plot, the actors, effects, everything!
Confessions begins with a long lecture from Yuko Moriguchi, a teacher at a school somewhere in Japan (I thought this movie was boring, I almost stopped the movie while she was lecturing, but I'm glad I didn't).  Ms. Moriguchi is about to leave the school, but before doing so, she gave one final lesson to her students on the value of life. While lecturing, she shocks her students with a revelation that her young daughter (5 year old), whose death which the police concluded was an accident, was intentionally murdered by two of her own students. She didn't only revealed the murderers' identity but also explains how she plans to take revenge on those students.
I don't want to give more spoilers, I definitely want to recommend this movie to everyone, well not really everyone because there's a lot of violence and blood spilled in this movie. I rate this movie 9/10.

Osama Bin Laden dead

This is taken from Yahoo News. This is worth posting. May he Rest in Peace, oh wait, Rest in War? lol

WASHINGTON – Osama bin Laden, the glowering mastermind behind the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks that murdered thousands of Americans, was killed in an operation led by the United States, President Barack Obama said Sunday.
A small team of Americans killed bin Laden in a firefight Sunday at a compound in Pakistan, the president said in a dramatic late-night statement at the White House.

A jubilant crowd gathered outside the White House as word spread of bin Laden's death after a global manhunt that lasted nearly a decade.

"Justice has been done," the president said.

Former President George W. Bush, who was in office on the day of the attacks, issued a written statement hailing bin Laden's death as a momentous achievement. "The fight against terror goes on, but tonight America has sent an unmistakable message: No matter how long it takes, justice will be done," he said.

Few details were immediately available of the operation that resulted in bin Laden's death, although the president said none of the Americans involved was harmed.

The development came just months before the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks on the World Trade Centers and Pentagon, orchestrated by bin Laden's al-Qaida organization, that killed more than 3,000 people.

The attacks set off a chain of events that led the United States into wars in Afghanistan, and then Iraq, and America's entire intelligence apparatus was overhauled to counter the threat of more terror attacks at home.

Al-Qaida was also blamed for the 1998 bombings of two U.S. embassies in Africa that killed 231 people and the 2000 attack on the USS Cole that killed 17 American sailors in Yemen, as well as countless other plots, some successful and some foiled.

A senior administration official says Obama gave the final order for U.S. officials to go after bin Laden on Friday. The official added that a small team found their quarry hiding in a large home in an affluent suburb of Islamabad. The raid occurred in the early morning hours Sunday.

Obama spoke with Bush and former President Bill Clinton Sunday night to inform them of the developments.

The attacks a decade ago seemed to come out of nowhere, even though al-Qaida had previously damaged American targets overseas.

The terrorists hijacked planes, flew one of them into one of Manhattan's Twin Towers — and, moments later, into the other one. Both buildings collapsed, trapping thousands inside and claiming the lives of firefighters and others who had rushed to help them.

A third plane slammed into the Pentagon, defacing the symbol of America's military night. A fourth crashed in rural Pennsylvania after passengers overpowered the hijackers and forced it down — before it could hit its intended target in Washington.

Obama struck a less than boastful tone in his brief announcement, although he said the death of bin Laden was "the most significant achievement to date in our nation's effort to defeat al-Qaida.

"His death does not mark the end of our effort. There's no doubt that al-Qaida will continue to pursue attacks against us. We must and we will remain vigilant," he added.

Moments after he spoke, American officials cautioned that the events could lead to heightened threats against the United States.

Attempt in poetry: Virus?

I made this one because of someone's death. And to be specific it was my dad. He died because of cancer, but I made this draft last two years ago, which is eight years after his death. I don't know what came up to my mind at that time but I just wanted to express what I really felt.

I never cried before when he was pronounced dead, I was pretending to be strong and they thought I didn't care. But to tell you frankly it was tearing me apart I even cried myself to sleep, he was my role model. I looked up to him, I may have been a brat but I respect him, adore him and love him. Until now, nobody still can replace him.

I'm posting this now because someone died again because of this virus called cancer. And it's really unfair, it took 2 sisters, first one was the mother of my childhood friend, then just 40 days after it took her younger sister which is the mother of my cousin.

May you all rest in peace.

This is for you cancer:

i wonder what they did to you?
you just came up and slowly taking their place
what is wrong with you?
you're unfair and i don't want to get close to you

fuck you!
i don't like you!
you've almost taken all over the world
what the hell is your problem?

if you're going to take over me
i'd rather choke to death
than slowly feel the pain
that you will be giving

why in the world are you here?
where are you from?
why don't you go fuck yourself
and don't ever come back!

they were all so young
you took them away
did you know what you're doing?
you've taken a life that's precious to others

we only have one life
we're trying to live it fully
but you're taking control
what's wrong with you?

why don't you ask God
to give you life
and try to live it yourself
to let you know what life is

sorry for cursing, well then let's move on and enjoy life while it's hot. lol

Silver Drugs

I went to Sto. Rosario earlier and bought hosts and candles for the Baptismal of my baby girl this coming Easter Sunday, April 24, 2011. When I was heading back to work I came across a guy trying to sell a silver necklace to me. I'll be posting the conversation in my dialect (bisaya) just for this one great line that he said.

Guy: Silver bai. (showing the silver necklace)
Me: *shakes head*
Guy: Pang suyop lang gud!
I was surprised because for the first time, I heard someone told me what he wants to buy for the item he's selling. Some people approached me before to sell some stuff but mostly lied on the purpose why they're selling it. At least this guy is telling the truth. He's an honest drug addict! Kudos to him. lol
Me: Di lang w/ matching lingo². (*Wa man gani koy pamlite, papaliton na hinuon ko nimo ana!)

*I wanted to say that to him, but I just couldn't because he might have another SILVER knife on his back waiting to put a hole on someones stomach.

Makes me wonder why most people do that? Why not find a job and wait for their salary and then buy all the drugs they want!

I know some who works even on a BPO company, I have friends too and I salute them because they work for their vices instead of selling crappy items that nobody would want to buy.

If you can't afford it. Stop it!

5 Day sale for SM Advantage Card holders

Starting yesterday April 13, 2011 to April 17, 2011 you can save up to 80% on every value pack, well that's what the picture say.
Because of it, I went to SM Cebu yesterday to claim my temporary SM Advantage Card and was hoping to buy some value packs there. But then changed my mind and have gone to SaveMore Supermarket at E-mall instead. When I got there I looked for the value packs and found them at the center, when I looked what's inside it. I was disappointed, I saw a value pack and inside it was napkin pads with the SM bonus item which is a water dipper (kabo). Other one was 3 canned corned beef and the bonus item which I forgot what was it. But looking at the prices, I couldn't see how am I going to save up to 80% on every value pack. Maybe what they're trying to say is 100% minus 80% equals save up to 20% and because of the "save up to" phrase, you're lucky if you reach 20% and not so lucky if you only get 10% off. Well, the bottom line is you still can save more if you buy lots of packs. But there's a limit of 10 value packs though. So good luck!

This explains why people forward emails

I'd like to  share this to everyone, a forwarded mail from my uncle. Read on, if you want to know why people forward emails to you.

A man and his dog were walking along a road.
The man was enjoying the scenery,  when it suddenly occurred to him that he was dead.

He remembered dying, and that the dog walking beside him had been dead for years.
He wondered where the road was leading them.

After a while, they came to a high, white stone wall along one side of the road.
 It looked like fine marble.
At the top of a long hill, it was broken by a tall arch that glowed in the sunlight.
When he was standing before it, he saw a magnificent gate in the arch that looked
like mother-of-pearl, and the street that led to the gate looked like pure gold.

48÷2(9+3) = ?

Just earlier I encountered an interesting math equation which is 48÷2(9+3) = ?
I tried solving this problem and I came up with 2. But then I asked others if what's their answer, some say 288. I don't really know what's the rule of mathematics. But as I have remembered and if my Math teacher was right, we used PEMDAS which is all equations inside a Parenthesis comes first, (multiply / divide) follows then (add / subtract) either way. Even calculators have their own answers. haha!

What do you think? Please explain your answer/opinion about this.
And if you have the time, do post your solution in the comment area.

My baby's name

Please help us choose the spelling of our baby girl's name. We'd like to name her Khia / Kaia. What would be your choice? Please vote on the poll on the right sidebar ---->
and if you have the time, please do comment on what your choice is and tell us why. By the way, her second name would be Brielle, so it will be Khia Brielle or Kaia Brielle.

Thank you!

UPDATE: my wife just gave birth to a 6 lbs. baby girl last March 22, and we named her Kheia Brielle instead of Khia or Kaia. Haha! I know the spelling is complicated, but it's already been decided. :P
Her name was suggested by a friend of my wife and we decided to name her that. So again, thank you to people who helped us. hehe :D

I would like to ask an apology to everybody who voted and waited for the result. But again, I'm thanking you for your time, interest and for helping us, I really appreciate it. Especially to Mr./Ms. Anonymous who commented here and informed me about it. Sorry again, and thank you!

Wedding Day Part 3 - Reception to Hotel/Home

After everything was finished at the reception, it's time to go home. First we have to go back to the hotel to get our things and to check out. But before that, we were stuck at Grand Con because the car won't unlock and won't open. I don't know what happened why it didn't open at first, maybe the key gave us some thrill? The funny part is, I thought that maybe it was not the car we used earlier? But our uncle insisted, because he just put some gifts at the baggage earlier but he just can't open it again. Then we thought the key was busted and it took us about 10 minutes before it finally came open.

So we head back to Crown Regency Hotel, and it took us some time to get a parking space, because at first the basement parking was full and because we haven't found a parking space, our uncle said he will just wait outside the hotel and park the car nearby and we told him if he parks the car at the basement, just wait for us at the lobby. So we got out of the car and walked our asses entering at the front entrance, then we passed by at some tourists which is on a line near the door of the hotel. And because we haven't changed yet, we're still wearing our wedding suit / dress. The tourists cheered, clapped and some saying "Congratulations!", "Yey!", etc.. Everyone was looking at us, with a SMILE of-course. But then, It was so embarrassing. I never imagined it would happen. It is just like the movies.. hehe

Wedding Day Part 2 - Church to Reception

After the messy pictorial at church, it's time for the reception! As we were waiting inside the bridal car, we had small talks about what happened and why they were late. She said they were late because it took them some time to take a hold of the bridal car, maybe it was parked somewhere far away from the lobby or something. hehe! Anyways, so much for that. As we arrived at the reception which is at the Grand Convention Center of Cebu, we were waiting for the entourage to walk in first for the grand entrance. There was a music, I just couldn't remember what was it, but I know it was a dance music or something, and because of that, we need to dance while we walking for the entrance! I was like "really? do we really have to do this?" but my wife started dancing while walking, and because of that, I had no choice but to dance as well. It was so not like what I was thinking, I couldn't dance. I don't dance! But for our wedding, I did it. I wonder what I look like dancing, well I really don't know how to describe it. But it was CRAZY! Crazy because I really don't know how to dance. lol

After the entrance, it was time for the first dance. So I held her hand and we started slow dancing. It was fun, and I never did that before. It was like the first and the last dance for me. hehe! I forgot what music was playing for our first dance, all I remember was the first music played on our Prosperity dance which I'll talk about it later on. As we finished dancing it was supposed to be the time to eat. But because of the early time, it was still like 10:30am something and the food is not yet ready. So we started picture taking with people on each table. But it was not enough, so the emcee started some games, like asking questions about us and everything, but sad to say nobody participated. I don't know why but people was not interested back then. Maybe they were hungry at that time and too tired to participate. Then finally the soup was served. After few minutes, they started serving other foods one by one. And to my dismay it was really slow. I never imagined it would turn out that way, I don't know why but grand con was not the best choice, their food is good, but the serving takes a large amount of time which is very disappointing.

Wedding Day Part 1 - Hotel to Church

As I have mentioned in my earlier post, I wasn't able to sleep and it's already 4:00am, and that's 4hours before the wedding ceremony. The make-up artist came, then they started my mom's make-up. I was so angry at that time because I was worried that I will look like shit on my wedding because I haven't slept yet and it's still a long day ahead. Not wasting my time, made a coffee and then took a warm shower to freshen up my head.

Then few hours later, the photographers came. I wasn't ready, I don't know exactly what I was doing, maybe I was like relaxing when I only got only few hours left. lol. So the make-up artist put some powder on my damn face, put a damn make-up and sprayed my hair. Then wore my white pants, and polo. The photographer took a sample picture on my damn face and then said "sir, the make-up is thick and it looks errr".

Before our Wedding Day

It was really a stressful day, because I haven't bought my shoes, tie, and belt for the wedding day. My wife got her nail done first before we go to Ayala and buy our needs for the wedding and we only had a little time left, because at 4:30pm we must be at the church for our briefing and confession and it was like 2:00pm already. It takes time to choose things to buy, and because of the little time we had I only bought 3 shirts for my brothers and a pair of socks.

So we head down first to Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Parish, Capitol Site, Escario, Cebu City. So the briefing started and it was fast because the lecturer was like in a hurry and I didn't understand a thing. lol. I don't know what's with him, he even scolded my wife because she laughed when he was lecturing. Duh? Why so serious? We can't even understand what you just said! You were like eating all the words that coming out from your mouth. After the briefing, next was the confession. I was so nervous at that time because I don't know what to say first. Forgot the line "Bless me father for I have sinned". hehe!

My Wedding Song - Two Is Better Than One lyrics

Boys Like Girls - Two Is Better Than One

I remember what you wore on the first day
You came into my life and I thought
"Hey, you know, this could be something"
'Cause everything you do and words you say
You know that it all takes my breath away
And now I'm left with nothing

So maybe it's true
That I can't live without you
And maybe two is better than one
But there's so much time
To figure out the rest of my life
And you've already got me coming undone
And I'm thinking two is better than one

I remember every look upon your face
The way you roll your eyes
The way you taste
You make it hard for breathing
'Cause when I close my eyes and drift away
I think of you and everything's okay
I'm finally now believing

That maybe it's true
That I can't live without you
And maybe two is better than one
But there's so much time
To figure out the rest of my life
And you've already got me coming undone
And I'm thinking two is better than one

I remember what you wore on the first day
You came into my life and I thought, "Hey,"

Maybe it's true
That I can't live without you
Maybe two is better than one
But there's so much time
To figure out the rest of my life
And you've already got me coming undone
And I'm thinking
I can't live without you
'Cause, baby, two is better than one
But there's so much time
To figure out the rest of my life
But I'll figure it out
When all is said and done
Two is better than one
Two is better than one
